10th Annual Duke Fellows Advanced Vitreous Surgery Course

March 22-23, 2024

The Duke fAVS course is designed for surgical retina, medical retina and uveitis fellows involved in the treatment of vitreoretinal diseases and is intended to complement the fellowship curriculum.

The Duke fAVS program will also provide a unique opportunity for fellows to interact with faculty on a one-on-one basis in a four-hour wet lab. Wet-lab attendees will have an invaluable opportunity to directly compare sustained release technology, retinal prosthesis, intraoperative OCT machines, microscopes, 3D visualization systems, vitrectomy machines, forceps, laser probes, subretinal delivery devices and a range of other tools across manufacturers.
