Vail Vitrectomy 2025
February 8-11, 2025
Vail, CO
The Vail Vitrectomy Meetings, founded in 1975 by Dr. Robert Machemer and colleagues, occur every three to four years to promote the exchange of new ideas and information in retinal surgery. Dr. Machemer assembled many of the top thought leaders and innovators from around the world to create a vibrant retinal surgery “think tank.” The goal of these meetings is twofold: to showcase new vitreoretinal surgical concepts, instrumentation, and techniques and to stimulate discussions and interactions to spur further advances in the retinal field.
One key requirement for this invitation-only meeting is that each speaker must present a primarily surgical project or concept that has never been presented at another major meeting.
